Everyone has favorite CDs and of course wants to listen to it on his / her Zune. How to do it? Just rip your CD to WMA, MP3 or AAC file formats. After that transfer them to your Zune. 3. Purchase movies and songs from Zune Marketplace To get a zune pass you will need to suscribe and pay a flat $14.99 per month for unlimited downloads. Individual downloads are another option as well. 1) Subscribe * Sign up for a free Zune account. * Download as many tracks or albums as you like, and sync to your Zune. 2) Individual download * Sign up for a free Zune account. * 79 Microsoft Points per track (about 99 cents). Buy e.g.  4000 Microsoft Points’ for $50. (Pay by credit card or biy a points card at participating retail stores. About  Microsoft Points: It  is a universal system that works across borders, including Xbox Live Marketplace. and Zune Marketplace. I do not like the fact of paying per download not paying a flat monthly fee. Alternative Zuen download sites are popping up everywhere. You might not know this, but guest sync is my favorite thing about Zune. It’s not really something we called out in advertising or in PR, but for a music geek it’s a really cool feature. After talking to the program manager responsible for guest sync, here’s what I found out:

You can take your Zune device, and sync it with multiple PCs – via guest sync. While you’re in guest mode, you can add content, manage your library, delete music, etc. And you can guest sync to an unlimited number of PCs – with ripped content, and with songs individually purchased from Zune Marketplace. Subscription content is a little different, though – there’s a two device sync limit on ZMP subscription content.

You might have seen stories taking rounds about Universal and Sony placing restriction on zune’s wi-fi sharing. Not aware of it, well I guess it even hit the digg home page.

I don’t know how legit the news is, but as per digital music news, on their discussion with Chris Stephenson, general manager of Global Marketing for the Entertainment Business, Microsoft, yielded more details about the zune line.
