What I Knew About NPD. . .
. . . Was wrong. I read this post about NPD from David’s blog. As it turns out, NPD is actually more accurate than folks on this blog (including me) originally thought:
- NPD do not report on Wal-mart or Sam’s (we were right about that one).
- NPD *do* report on the Apple online and retail stores – since last year (we were wrong).
- NPD also don’t report on Amazon (small percentage of the category; we were right about that one).
- NPD data is U.S. only

Ok, my friend/co-worker is back from the Adult Swim event and let me have a peak at the Adult Swim Zune, so I snapped a few pictures. First up, here’s the box:
