According to NPD numbers for the month of May, Zune hold 11.3% of the hard-disc based MP3 market. The strong pink Zune sales probably helped to achieve that number. Let see if the Zune can continue to rise in June…

A few folks have asked me about the latest wave of rumor/speculation. Over the next few months, my guess is we’ll all see a plethora of Zune rumors: Ivan Drago, Flash Gordon, etc, etc. Of course, I can’t tell you what to believe, but if you’re going to base your opinions on unconfirmed rumors you read on the internet. . . all I can tell you is: “Um, good luck with that .” As for the official word from the Zune team, it’s, you guessed it: We don’t comment on rumor and speculation.
