Welcome, welcome – to the first New Music Friday in almost a month. My wife (that’s Mrs. Zuneinsider to you) suggested that I should make it a really good one – and I happen to agree – ready?
- First up this week – GorillavsBear has six MP3s spanning a variety of genres, including one track by The Seeds that dates back to ’66!
- Arjan Writes mixes up it up this week and gives us a Beastie Boys track.
- Music for Robots answers this question: “What do you get when you give a singer-songwriter type a GameBoy?” with this track by Leeni.
- Chromewaves slows it up a bit and has a track by Jenn Grant, and one by The Veils
- Our buddy Dodge over at MOKB offers up four tasty tracks – including the latest by Band of Horses!
- Fans of indie folk/country, head over to 3Hive for 4 Cary Brothers tracks.
- Marsneedsguitars has eight tracks, each with the word “crazy” in the title.
- ‘gum has a new Beirut track. Sweet.
- For hip hop heads who read the blog, Different Kitchen has a preview of the new Rick Ross record (two MP3s)
- Now this, this band has a cool name: Eagle Seagull. Sweet. I love inter-species rhymes. You Ain’t No Picasso has a track, as well as tour dates.
- Fluxblog has the latest single by Hillary Duff. I like it. Don’t judge.
- And enjoy these 6 soul tracks, dating back to the 70s – at Soulsides.
Ok, enjoy the free music, the latest round of unconfirmed rumors (kidding, kidding), and the long weekend!
Take this with a grain of salt, but this could be the first picture of the upcoming Flash Zune and 2G Zune player. Gizmodo published this and said that their source took that from marketing material (probably a retail channel)….
